We have proudly partnered with Wags & Walks; a non-profit organization and dedicated community of dog lovers working hard to reduce euthanasia in shelters and increase awareness around the beauty rescue dogs. Since inception, Wags & Walks has successfully saved over 11,000 dogs from high-kill shelters and placed them in loving forever homes. With your support, $71,355 has been donated to Wags & Walks through HolistaPet Helps to date. That’s over 140 lives saved and counting!

Last year, Richard’s story was introduced to us by a member of the HolistaPet team. We were so moved by his unwavering commitment to his pets that we wanted to do whatever we could to help him get back on his feet. Richard Bastardo, a United States veteran, had been hit with tough times and had found himself homeless. He was living in a broken down vehicle with no heat when Dr. Kwane of Project Street Vet met him and his dogs. Dr. Kwane learned that Richard had turned down offers from friends and family to move in with them in order to stay with his pets who were not welcome in those offers.
